WinGrade WebPost(TM)

Now with WinGrade you have the ability to generate HTML files using the WinGrade WebPost(TM) feature. What this means for you, as an educator, is that you will be able to have your grades posted on your local web server automatically, every day when you save your Class folder!

Students can check on their grades any time using a computer to access your school web server. It will be just as if you printed the grades on a printer and posted them in your class, only WinGrade does all of the work for you, and automatically generates a new WebPost file each time your WinGrade Class Folder is saved to disk.

The file that WinGrade WebPost(TM) generates requires NO HTML programming knowledge, all you have to do is click a button!

All that is needed to view the files generated by WinGrade WebPost(TM), is a web browser.

Generating HTML Files

There are a few options you can customize within the WebPost feature, such as adding your personal web page link to each file that is generated. WebPost also allows you to specify the locations where the private and public generated files will be saved, so you can set it once and forget about it.

The files generated by WebPost look very similar to the grade book as it appears in WinGrade! You can see Grades, Percentages, Points, Assignment names, Class Averages, Assignment points, and Student scores.
