Introducing WebJavaGrade by AGiSS

AGiSS WebJavaGrade

The latest edition to the AGiSS Software collection takes the JavaGrade port of the Windows AGiSS GradeBook, that runs completely within the context of your web browser.

This means you can use WebJavaGrade on virtually any machine that supports the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.3 or later. All you need is access to the web server running WebJavaGrade, and you can modify/view/create/upload your class files from any where, at any time.

WebJavaGrade Features

This current version of JavaGrade supports all of the calculation models that WinGrade does, and allows you to add unlimited students and assignments. Below is a list of the features available in 1.0:

- Create New classes

- Add unlimited Students and Assignments

- Save class files

- Set Class Weights

- Set Assignment Weights

- Calculate student grades by points, percentage, or weights

- Set your own Grading scale

- Class Wizard for setting up or modify class properties.

- Open existing WinGrade files (*.wgc)

- WinGrade files (*.wgc) are completely compatible between JavaGrade, JPdaGrade and WinGrade.

- Upload your .wgc files from your PDA, or desktop machine directly to your account running WebJavaGrade.

- Students and parents can view their grades at anytime from any computer, all they need is the login information provided by you.

- Support multiple users at one time

Requirements

To use WebJavaGrade, you must have a web server and at least the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.3 or later to run swing applications.

To use the software as a test user (under the TestAccount) use the following login information when prompted:

Login: test

Password: agiss

You can open the files that are currently there to play with, or you can upload your own files.
