Why does WinGrade lockup when I tried to start the program?
This is usually happens when the software attempts to open a file that is corrupt or missing.
First try pressing the Alt+Tab keys together, to see if the software is trying to display a message box.
If this is not the case, then do the following when the program is not running:
1)Select the Search or Find option from the Start menu
2)Then search your local disk for a file called wingrade.ini
3)Once you find this file, double click the file to edit it
4)Look in the file for the entry named:
restorelastcount=???
The ??? will be some number, set this number to 0 (zero) so it looks like:
restorelastcount=0
5)Save the file and close notepad
6)Run the software again, and it should open up without the lockup.
